All I'd add is that a teacher gave me a great piece of advice about asking for feedback: let the person/people you want it from know that you'll ask for it BEFORE you perform in front of them. <br /><br />That way, they'll know that you're genuinely looking for constructive criticism and won't just give you superficial feedback like "That was great." I also do want feedback from dancers that I know and trust, and appreciate when it is given.
